West Bengal Civic Volunteers Association staged protests in front of the administrative building at Krishnanagar in Nadia district

Nadia: They have long been vocal in demanding the issuance of i-cards and uniforms to ensure 30 days of work, to ensure work up to the age of 60, and to ensure employment in the family of a deceased civil defense worker. They claimed that in a minimum salary they are also working like a government employee do.

Ignoring the climatic changes, they do various activities to save lives of others from danger. But their demands have been ignored from a long time! Never boasted, never boycotted the vaccine or refused to take official honors.

However, they are still hopeful that the Chief Minister of Bengal will be kind to them. Today, their protest in front of the administrative building in Krishnanagar in Nadia district lasted for some time. Delegates from different parts of the district submitted a deputation to the Deputy Commissioner. Nazmul Sheikh, who is in charge of the district in this regard, said that not all the members of the district were present due to the Kovid situation. However, if the demand is not met, the movement will take a terrible form in Bengal.
