Can wounded Mamata prove to be more dangerous?

NORTHERN TIMES NEWS:-
MAYURI ADAK ; 16th March 2021
KOLKATA: Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, resumed her poll campaign on Sunday, with a 5.4 km Trinamool Congress procession through South Kolkata. Her plastered foot was not a hindrance and she conducted the procession. This was her first public meeting after the attack. In the procession she reaffirmed that her goals are going to remain unchanged even though she is hurt.
Her party members were not expecting her to come up directly at the Hazra crossing after the march, which was to be led by Diamond Harbour MP Abhishek Banerjee. But to everyone’s surprise, the convoy pulled up near the Park Street crossing around 1.50pm. Wheelchair-bound Mamata was taken through Mayo Road to the statue. Then the march to Hazra began with Mamata at its head.
She conducted the procession within less than 48 hours after her discharge from the hospital. In the procession she said, “Always remember, a wounded tiger is more dangerous.” She also said that her pain was not more important than her responsibility to protect the democracy. MP Abhishek Banerjee said that it would be foolish to even think that injuring Mamata Banerjee can put TMC on the back foot. Mamata would continue to conduct campaigns all throughout Bengal.
She also mentioned in a tweet, “We will continue to fight boldly! I’m in a lot of pain, but I feel the pain of my people even more. In this fight to protect our revered land, we will NEVER bow down to COWARDICE.” The march that preceded the meeting was held to mark Nandigram Divas, the anniversary of the killing of 14 people in police firing in 2007, an incident which is key to Mamata’s rise to power four years later.
