CYCLONE NISARGA UPDATES: Severe Storm to hit the Coastal Regions of Maharashtra and Gujrat.

Cyclone Nisarga: Severe Cyclone storm currently 140km away from Mumbai area is likely to hit coast within afternoon.

Over 30 NDRF Teams are being deployed for rescue operations in Maharashtra and Gujarat.Navy fleets are kept on Standby for rescue..

Near about 1,00,000 people including the Covid-19 patients were evacuated from the WEST Coastal areas of Maharashtra and about 35000 peoples from Gujarat..

Only 12 flights were allowed for arrival at Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport.

"People living in the Cottages near the shore line were being moved to safer places before Cyclone Nisarga made it's way towards the shore" said The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackery.
